Ted Sperling Park also known as South Lido Beach Park, is actually two interconnected parks located at the southern tip of Lido Key in Sarasota, Florida.

Ted Sperling Park at South Lido Beach offers breathtaking views of the Sarasota skyline and the John Ringling Causeway Bridge, as well as plenty of outdoor activities like kayaking, paddleboarding, birding and wildlife viewing, and plenty of amenities for visitors to truly enjoy what Lido Key nature has to offer.

Known for its picturesque mangrove tunnels which are highly protected, this is a one of a kind spot to explore Lido Key by kayak or paddleboard. These winding waterways provide an immersive and unique experience into the heart of this coastal habitat’s rich wildlife nature. Ted Sperling Park is also home to the Mangrove Grill, a waterfront restaurant where visitors can grab a bite to eat or enjoy a refreshing drink while taking in the scenic views of the bay.

South Lido Beach Park features a beautiful white-sand beach that stretches along the Gulf of Mexico. It’s an ideal spot for sunbathing, swimming, or simply relaxing with the sound of the waves.
