The name “Sarasota” is thought to be derived from a Spanish term for “a place of dancing” — an apt name for this Florida Gulf Coast city just south of the Tampa Bay area. With a lively arts scene, gorgeous beaches, and a burgeoning business center, Sarasota is a magnet for people looking to relocate.
