First Night Of The 2022 Sarasota County Fair

The Fairgrounds features our annual Sarasota County Agricultural Fair, which is a 10-day event each March and features Rides, Entertainment, Crafts, Horticulture, Science Fair, Livestock, and Auction. The benefits of this annual event go to promoting the 4-H and FFA.
The Sarasota Fairgrounds and Robarts Arena are operated by the Sarasota Agricultural Fair Association, Inc., a 501c3 not-for-profit with a 25-member board of directors. The association produces the annual Sarasota Agricultural Fair with an annual attendance of over 140,000.
The Sarasota Fair moves into the 21st Century dedicated to continuing showcasing the agricultural industry, commerce, customs, and cultures of Sarasota County while sustaining and developing family entertainment and enhancing economic vitality.
Our mission statement says that our association will efficiently utilize the association’s assets, be innovative in planning and growth, protect the public investment, maintain sensitivity to the environment, preserve and showcase our agricultural heritage and other local economic interests, including the development and education of our youth, creating cultural traditions culminating in the annual fair. Astronomy by The Bay – Spring Equinox Sun-Fest

Following the Sunday at The Bay concert, join us on the first day of spring for an afternoon of solar gazing with the help of a very special solar scope and a handful of enthusiastic volunteers eager to share their unique view of our sun with the park goers. Sidewalk Science brings a hands-on element with related activities such as an interactive solar system display and models that demonstrate how equinoxes and solstices function in Earth’s orbit.
