Lights in Bloom®: An Open-air Holiday Light Show

This event is a great way to get in to the holidays with more than 2 million lights, illuminating the Selby Gardens beautiful grounds. Lights in Bloom®: An Open-Air Holiday Light Show has many activities, including: children’s arts and crafts, activities, and entertainment. Food will be available for purchase from the Michael’s on East grill, including a cash bar. Enjoy strolling through the gardens and getting in to the holiday spirit!

Disney Artist Tim Rogerson at Art Ovation

Come see Tim Rogerson and Margaret Kerry. Tim Rogerson is a Disney Fine Artist and Ringling College Alumnus. He is one of only several artists allowed to recreate iconic Disney Characters and scenes. Margaret will be sharing her amazing story of how Walt Disney chose her to be the original Tinker Bell model for the Disney animators in her book “Tinker Bell Talks”. Artwork and books will be available for purchase.
After Hours at The Bazaar

Friday, Dec 10 Doors will open its doors at the Bazaar, after hours, for holiday cheer and shopping. Meet some of the creators and curators from 10 am until 7 pm and check out special guest vendors outside from 4-7 pm. There will be live music and fun for the whole family! Hamlet’s Eatery will be open with adult beverages will be available.
35th Annual Holiday Boat Parade of Lights
The 35th Annual Sarasota Holiday Boat Parade of Lights will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Come enjoy this favorite area event. There is no better way to get into the local Sarasota spirit of the holidays than watching the boats, all decorated and lit up. The best areas for viewing are Marina Jack Restaurant, Bayfront Park, City Island, and Centennial Park.
