March 23, 2025: Farm to Fillet 2025 at Mote
It’s Farm to Fillet 2025 at Mote. Guests will enjoy a delicious lunch and exclusive, behind-the-scenes tours of Mote’s rapidly growing research park. Hear directly from Mote scientists about their work to advance sustainable aquaculture technology to feed the world, restock depleted fish populations, mitigate red tide, and restore Florida’s coral reef.

March 29-30, 2025: Sarasota Open Air Fine Art Show
It’s the Sarasota Open Air Fine Art Show. The focus is visual arts, fine arts, and fine crafts created by award-winning artists from around the world, with all disciplines for sale – paintings, clay, glass, sculpture, fiber, wood, jewelry, and more – all juried by art professionals. There is something for everyone in all price ranges. Great food from local area restaurants and music add to the ambiance of this beautiful show.
$5 parking supports the Institute for the Arts & Education. Free admission.

All Month Long: Embracing Our Differences
The annual Sarasota nonprofit exhibition continues through April 13 at Bayfront Park, 5 Bayfront Drive, Sarasota. Open 7 a.m.-11 p.m. daily, with free admission. A rescheduled community celebration, Embracing Our Community — A Celebration of Kindness, will take place noon-3 p.m. March 30. It adds a second showcase at St. Petersburg’s Poynter Park, Third Street South at Ninth Avenue South, March 1-31, with free admission. Open 30 minutes before sunrise to 11 p.m. daily.
