Siesta Key is a barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico, off the coast of Sarasota. It’s known for its sandy, gorgeous beaches. But it’s also known for Golf. Golfers will find more than 80 courses in neighboring Sarasota County, only a short drive away.
This quaint and gorgeous 8-mile-long island offers a little bit of everything. Shopping, resorts, dining, and fabulous nightlife. Known for its quartz sand, turquoise waters, and many amenities, Siesta Key is a must-visit island for everyone. It’s the perfect romantic spot, a wonderful family vacation destination, and incredible for active sports enthusiasts. And don’t forget: Wherever you stay, the beach and bay are always nearby.
Siesta Key is also known as the laid-back beach town. Being right nearby in Sarasota, you’re only moments away from art, wildlife, botanical gardens, opera, ballet, symphonies, museums, theater, film festivals, and baseball spring training.
