Hi, it’s Jenn Flanders, your Sarasota Realtor! I recently visited one of Sarasota’s most magical holiday traditions—Lights in Bloom® at Selby Botanical Gardens. Running from December 6th, 2024, through January 1st, 2025, this event transforms the Downtown Sarasota campus into a tropical winter wonderland, featuring more than two million lights illuminating the gardens and walkways.
From dazzling displays to festive photo opportunities, Lights in Bloom® is a truly enchanting experience for all ages. There’s so much to enjoy, including family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and, of course, the beauty of the gardens lit up in holiday splendor.
It’s no surprise that Lights in Bloom® is ranked #6 in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice contest for Best Botanical Garden Holiday Lights in the country. Walking through the glowing pathways is a reminder of how special our Sarasota community is during the holidays.
